FC Porto vs Villarreal Match Preview
FC Porto will play host to Villarreal on Thursday in the UEFA Europa League semi-final first leg.
Porto have already wrapped up the Portugese title, and are guaranteed to face Portugese opposition should they make the final. Villarreal will be hoping it is a case of third time lucky, as the Yellow Submarine have fallen at the semi-final stage in 2004 and 2006.
Defender Jorge Fucile has been ruled out with injury for Porto, the Uruguay defender suffered a broken collarbone in the quarter-final second leg against Spartak Moscow.
Nilmar and Santiago Cazoria will return from suspension for Villarreal. The pair received fines for UEFA for their bookings received in the first leg against Spartak.

Falcao (Porto) – The Colombian striker is the tournament’s leading goal scorer so far this season with 11 goals. He will be the spearhead of the Porto attack in what could he a high scoring affair over two legs.
Giuseppe Rossi (Villarreal) – The Italian international striker has scored 10 Europa League goals this season, and amassed 31 in all competitions. If Villarreal are to score an away goal, it is highly likely Rossi will play a part in it.
