Wolves currently sit in the relegation zone after a three game winless streak, and are one point adrift of safety. FA Cup Finalists Stoke are five points clear of the relegation zone and will be looking to follow up on the weekend’s 1-1 draw at Aston Villa.
Striker John Carew will return from injury for Stoke, while Ricardo Fuller is sidelined with an Achilles problem. Danny Higginbotham and Mamady Sidibe are long term injury absentees for the Potters.
Stephen Hunt will make his long awaited return from a groin injury for Wolves, while Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and David Edwards are injury doubts and will be assessed ahead of kickoff. Kevin Doyle, George Elokobi and Ronald Zubar are ruled out.
